Meg is a Chicago-based stand up comic, and writer.
She was featured as one of 19 Chicagons to know in the 2016 People Issue of Chicago Reader.
She has performed at the Laugh Factory and Zanies, including the Zanies Rising Stars showcase.
She was selected to the Boston Comedy Festival in 2016, where she was a semi-finalist.
She is co-founder/ producer of TEAM US COMEDY which puts on 3 monthly sold-out shows: "LAUGH NEAR MINIMALIST FURNITURE", one of Chicago's largest, Red-Eye recommended independent comedy variety shows, "BAD PEOPLE GOOD COMEDY", a downtown stand-up showcase/weekly open mike, and "COCKTAILS & HUMOR", a stand-up showcase in a fancy Distillery in West Chicago.
Meg is a director and writer for the sketch comedy group 3 DAY WEEKEND, featured in The Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival in 2017. She's written acclaimed satirical articles at Medium.
She has an instagram making fun of white boys, an underground podcast she can't go into too many details about, and is the creator of the Nicolas Cage meme that went viral.
TRAINING: Meg was selected in 2016 to be a writer for Stage 773's Artist Lab where she co-wrote 3 sketch shows, and then co-wrote and directed a sketch show with a cast of 5 for the Chicago Women's Funny Festival.
She is a 2015 graduate of the improv and sketch writing program at the Second City Training Center, and is currently studying Late Night/TV writing and Comedy Video Production at iO Chicago.
